Discipleship Strategy

Discipleship Strategy

We have an incarnational approach to reaching our community and that spills over into our understanding of discipleship.  In other words, we don't believe good programs make good disciples.  Christ-followers make disciples.  Christian fellowship is the catalyst for disciple-making.  So, our goal is to connect believers to one another through community.  Each member of our church needs to be in fellowship with other members who can encourage them and help them grow in Christ.  Our hope is that every member of Church @ The Square would be part of a community group.  These community groups exist to connect people together.

Disciple-making is our goal.  Put simply, disciple-making is one believer helping another one grow.  All of us are on a journey.  And we are at different points on that journey.  Imagine being a part of a church that didn't have a cookie-cutter program for turning you into a certain type of Christian, but one that uniquely and specifically helped you grow no matter what your journey up to this point looked like.  No two Christians are the same.  No two journeys follow the same steps.
